Intellectual Freedom
The Library Media Center and it's resources are available to every student and educator in the school. You are free to choose any of the materials to use for research, personal enjoyment and to promote learning goals.
Privacy
Any materials that a student may check out in the library and any questions that they may have whilst in the library, will be kept in confidence. The only exception to this rule will be if I have any concern for the student's well being.
Copyright
Copyright means the right to copy someone's work. Authors, musicians and artists have the rights to who can copy the work that they created. Making copies without their permission is against the law and is called plagiarism.
Plagiarism
"Plagiarism is the act of copying or stealing someone else's words or ideas and passing them off as your own work. An example of plagiarism is when you copy a paper from the Internet, put your name on it and turn it in as if you wrote it".

Acceptable Use
- Students are responsible for good behavior when using the internet
- Inappropriate behavior may result in your right to use the internet being taken away
- Your school user name and password will be kept private and you should not share this with anyone
- You will only have access to approved online resources
- School computers and other technology must be handled with care
- When researching information your sources must be cited
